Description
MACHINE TYPE:
Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy refers to the collection of data obtained by analyzing the interaction between infrared light and a sample, typically displayed as a graph showing the intensity of absorption at different wavelengths.
APPLICATION SECTOR:
Pharmaceutical, chemical, cosmetic, food, dietary, medical devices.
FEATURES:
The Perkin-Elmer FTIR spectrometer Spectrum is capable of collecting data in a wavenumber range from 370 to 7800 cm-1. It can be configured to operate in single beam, ratio, or interferogram mode. The best resolution is 0.5 cm-1. A mid-range deuterated triglycine sulfate infrared detector processes the signals with an integrated chip 68340. The sample compartment is purgeable, and the instrument interfaces with Perkin Elmer’s Spectrum software, allowing the user to extract qualitative and quantitative data from the spectrum and generate customized reports. PerkinElmer FT-IR spectrometers are built to the highest ISO-9001 manufacturing standards. All instruments meet or exceed confirmed specifications under normal operating conditions, as described in the user manual.
