This compact instrument is a high quality single-channel recorder reflecting the latest advance in solid state technology. It has been designed for use in student and research laboratories. This unit can be connected to a variety of isometric or isotonic transducers for “in vitro” organ preparations, to blood pressure transducers and also to implantable ones for “in vivo” experiments and to other devices to record any physiological parameter without the need of expensive couplers. It is particularly suitable for classical experiments on the isometric or isotonic contraction of chemically or electrically stimulated organs.
