FEATURES:
This pain analyzer measures the sensitivity of mice to the pressure exerted on one of their legs by a weight whose value increases at a constant rate through a motor-driven device. At the moment the animal struggles and withdraws its foot, the operator releases the pedal, stopping the motor and recording the value of the pressure that caused the pain. Optionally, data can be stored in the internal memory of a multifunction printer and can be printed directly or sent to a PC via data acquisition software.
