FEATURES:
The 7511 consists of a control unit and a box divided into two sections by a partition with an intercommunicating door at floor level. Many different protocols can be executed with the Reflex automatic conditioner 7511. The cage is equipped with acoustic and visual stimulators, which provide conditioning stimuli. The operator can turn on either the visual or acoustic stimulator, or both. The “reinforcement” consists of an electrical stimulus applied to the bars of the cage floor from a special circuit. The programming/recording unit provides the stimuli, the magnitude, speed, and duration of which can be varied, and records the animal’s response via a writing mechanism that: – provides an analog display of latency times – discriminates between responses caused by acoustic and/or visual stimuli.
