DESCRIPTION:
The BlisterScan is a leak tester for non-destructive testing. Test each blister cavity and identify which individual cavities have leaks or weak seals. It is intended for use in laboratory and production environments.

MAIN FEATURES:
A measurement of the deflection of the aluminum foil covering each cavity of the blister is taken before and after applying a vacuum to the test chamber. This deflection is caused by the difference between the pressure inside the cavity and the vacuum outside. In the case of a good cavity, the aluminum foil has the deflection that will be maintained throughout the period of constant vacuum. In the event of a leak the cover sheet has little or no deflection. The deflection and its changes are measured by a detection system that scans the cover surface of each blister cavity. The unit automatically stores data, saves downtime and eliminates waste. Product changeover time less than 20 seconds. Comprehensive tape up to 320 mm. LCD display with touch screen, parallel printer port, floppy-CDROM drive and double USB port. Sensitivity up to 5 microns in a volume of 700 mm3. 5 format sizes available.
