FEATURES:
The printer consists of a print head connected to the stainless steel cabinet via a flexible conduit. The cabinet contains an ink system and an electronic control system operated via a panel on the cabinet door. The ink system is mounted on a frame, allowing it to be withdrawn from the cabinet. The components of the print head are mounted on a rigid frame, with a completely enclosed upper section containing the connections between the head and the wiring. Each printed character consists of a matrix of dots made of lines, or ink drop strokes. The ink drops in each stroke are spaced by electronic deflection, and the strokes are spaced by the movement of the printing surface under the head. Command relationships, maintenance, and fault reports are carried out via the front panel in communication with the electronic system. The ink system supplies the print head with ink at the correct pressure and viscosity.
