The TurboVap LV evaporation system is a high-speed, low-volume automated sample concentrator. It is an efficient alternative to the cumbersome setup, constant monitoring, and long evaporation times characteristic of conventional techniques.
With the TurboVap LV system, simply “load and go”. A water bath provides a uniform temperature, and the gas flow is delivered over a preset period. Turn on from 1 to 5 collectors depending on the number of samples, and the timer will alert you when the samples are ready. The TurboVap LV is commonly used for solvent evaporation after solid-phase extraction cleaning of drug samples, pesticide extracts, etc. It is ideal for sample volumes from 1 to 30 ml that need to be evaporated into vials for GC, microcentrifuge tubes, conical bottom tubes, or test tubes. It offers a high-throughput solution with 50 sample positions. TurboVap LV can be used in combination with the automated SPE workstation RapidTrace+ that collects extracts in 12 x 75 mm, 13 x 100 mm, or 16 x 100 mm test tubes. For acidic solutions, Biotage offers PTFE-coated nozzles to prevent corrosion. For volumes greater than 30 ml, a TurboVap LV version compatible with ASE is available for use in combination with Dionex ASE 200 columns.
