The Silverson range of In-Line mixers offers many operator advantages, such as speed, versatility, self-pumping action, absence of air, and guaranteed efficiency. The heart of every mixer is the high-performance Silverson rotor/stator work head. The high rotational speed of the rotor blades, combined with the precision manufacturing of the work head, exerts a strong suction action that draws liquid and solid substances into the work head. Subsequently, the centrifugal force produced by the rotating blades pushes the substances towards the peripheral area of the work head, where they undergo a cutting action in the precisely defined space between the edge of the rotor blades and the inner wall of the stator. This phase is followed by an intense hydraulic cutting action during the forced high-speed expulsion of materials through the stator holes, continuing towards the machine outlet and into the piping. At the same time, new material is drawn into the work head, keeping the mixing and pumping cycle active.
