Description
DESCRIPTION:
Vertical laminar flow hood in stainless steel.
SECTORS OF USE:
Pharmaceutical, chemical, cosmetics, food, dietary, medical devices, manufacturing.
MAIN FEATURES:
Down-Cross hoods are used to reduce dust for sampling or dispensing operations. The Down-Cross system in question is suitable for the handling and dosing of sterile and non-sterile products (excipients or active ingredients) with the operator fully under LAF (Laminar Air Flow). The Down-Cross hood provides a vertical or horizontal laminar air flow in ISO class 5 on particles of 0.5 and 5 microns in “at rest” conditions according to the ISO 14644-1 standard with an intake section complete with a double pre-filtration stage located on the vertical back wall. In the cabin there is a partial recirculation of the treated air with a portion of air that is expelled into the surrounding environment after appropriate absolute filtration. The operating cycle described guarantees a slight depression which determines a confinement of the dispensing area with respect to the surrounding environments. The cabin is made up of a self-supporting structure in “scotch brite” satin or mirror polished AISI 304 stainless steel. The sheets are press-bent with curvature radii of approximately 3 mm. The blower section includes double inlet centrifugal motor fans, ATEX on request. The upper filtering section is protected by a grid or a micro-perforated diffusion mesh made of AISI 304 stainless steel. The lighting system is completely integrated into the filtering ceiling and is guaranteed by LED lamps, installed “recessed” with lighting equal to 500 LUX and relative protection degree IP 67.
