The compact vertical cartoning machine is semi-automatic, working intermittently. MAIN FEATURES:
The carton is erected automatically by the machine and inserted manually by the operator. The machine erects the carton by means of vacuum from the carton magazine, fixes it in the adjustable star shape and during the next cycle, closes the lower flaps. The product is inserted manually in an area controlled by a safety barrier that acts as a cycle consent function and as long as the operator or any other object is positioned within the range of action of the same barrier, the machine does not perform any cycle. The box is closed completely at the bottom; to facilitate correct closing, an air piston holds the carton. A sensor checks the presence of product inside the case. Subsequently, the internal flaps on the upper side will be folded and if activated, the dry marker will print the upper flap. The carton is closed on the upper side through the closing device and is finally ejected from the machine. The rotating star is adjustable in width, depth and height so the vertical model does not require changing tools when changing case formats.
