FEATURES:
The hardness testers for tablets and the combined tablet testers from ERWEKA now offer the choice to perform the test under “Constant Speed” and “Constant Force” measurement conditions. When using “Constant Speed,” the testing jaw moves at a constant speed (adjustable from 0.05 to 3.00 mm/sec.) for breaking, while with the “Constant Force” system, the testing jaw increases pressure on the sample linearly (adjustable from 10 – 200 N/sec.). The choice of measurement principle to be used is up to the user and can be selected in a few seconds via the integrated Adjustment Menu of each Tester.
