The LAF units are designed to create a particle-free working area in the air. Built from stainless steel, this laminar flow unit ensures a high air quality workspace. It can be mounted on the ceiling if space is insufficient to install the workbench.

FEATURES:
Laminar flow is where a fluid flows in one direction, without interruptions from turbulence. In the case of a laminar flow unit, clean air has a unidirectional flow downward or through the front of the filter unit. A laminar flow hood is used to protect products and processes sensitive to airborne particles. The unidirectional filtered air ensures that only extremely clean air passes during the process. This not only means that the air will be free of particles from the outside, but also that particles generated by the process will be pushed out and away – keeping it contamination-free.
