FEATURES:
Laminar flow is where a fluid flows in one direction, without interruption from turbulence. In the case of a laminar flow unit, clean air has a unidirectional flow downward or through the front of the filter unit. A laminar flow cabinet is used to protect products and processes sensitive to airborne particles. The unidirectional filtered air ensures that only extremely clean air passes during the process. This not only means that the air will be free of particles from the outside, but it also means that particles generated by the process will be pushed out and away—keeping it contamination-free.
