MACHINE TYPE:
Melag 17 is designed for use in the medical field, particularly when the instruments used and the type of packaging do not require the use of an autoclave with “B” type cycles. According to the DIN EN 13060 standard, the autoclave described here is a sterilizer with “S” type cycles. It is a universal autoclave, suitable for sterilizing solid instruments packaged/unpackaged, simple hollow bodies, and small quantities of textile products. This device is not intended for use on patients or in areas reserved for patient treatment.

FEATURES:
The Melag 17 is a steam sterilizer autoclave of German manufacture, requiring a power supply of 230 V and has a power of 1800 W. It essentially has two working programs: operating pressure of 1 bar, time 50 min at a temperature of 121° C and operating pressure of 2 bar, time 30 min at a temperature of 134° C. All indication systems, pressure gauges, and thermometers are integrated into the main panel of the machine which requires, in addition to electrical power, distilled water with simple and convenient manual filling, specifically for one cycle 300 ml of water is considered. On the front of the autoclave, there is a connection to drain the residual liquid via a convenient drain button. The machine is supplied with the accessories shown in the photo.
