APPLICATION SECTOR:
Pharmaceutical, chemical, cosmetic, food, dietary, medical devices, manufacturing.
FEATURES:
The Packard Tri-Carb is a reliable liquid scintillation analyzer for laboratories. This computer-controlled benchtop equipment is capable of detecting small amounts of alpha, beta, and gamma radioactivity. Reliable results are produced by this analyzer even for tempered samples. Various features are mounted in the Tri-Carb liquid scintillation counters for maximum productivity. An integrated electrostatic controller minimizes the effects of static electricity. The automatic data reduction function includes averaging of repeated sample counts, the percent coefficient of variation (CV), low count rejection, and result normalization. User-defined equations can also be programmed into the Packard system. Outputs can be formatted for standard spreadsheet-type calculations according to user preferences. Other features of the Packard Tri-Carb include luminescence detection, half-life correction, and background subtraction. The Packard Tri-Carb liquid scintillation counter system includes a monitor, keyboard, and printer.
