WTW instrument for the determination of biochemical oxygen demand (BOD) using a manometric measurement principle via a pressure sensor.

FEATURES:
Measurement of respirometric BOD without mercury according to EN 1889-2 for automatic control. The OxiTop® system is designed for measuring BOD of wastewater samples with light to moderate contamination by measuring the decrease in oxygen pressure and the adsorption of CO₂ in the bottle with NaOH. Simple to use, mercury-free. Measurement values can be stored for 5 days or displayed immediately on the numeric display. Available version for 6 bottles, measurement ranges: from 0 to 40/80/200/400/800/2000/4000 mg/l BOD and automatic thermal function: if the sample is too cold, the start of measurement is delayed. To be used together with a magnetic stirrer base and a refrigeration thermostat.
