FEATURES:
The activity Cage 7401 consists of a control unit and a box divided into two sections by a partition with an intercommunicating door at floor level. Many different protocols can be executed with the automatic conditioner Reflex 7401. The cage is equipped with acoustic and visual stimulators, which provide conditioning stimuli. The operator can turn on either the visual or acoustic stimulator, or both. The “reinforcement” consists of an electrical stimulus applied to the bars of the cage floor from a special circuit. The programming/recording unit provides the stimuli, the magnitude, the speed, and the duration of which can be varied and records the animal’s response through a writing mechanism that proposes an analog display of latency times and discriminates between responses caused by acoustic and/or visual stimuli.
