FEATURES:
The RQ 100 is a tablet checking device for the automatic detection of the following tablet parameters: moisture, diameter, weight, thickness, density, and hardness (breaking resistance). The system is non-invasive, especially excluding the hardness test, and provides advanced statistics for quality control, directly indicating formulation changes. This analysis is the basis for process control in pharmaceutical solid product manufacturing plants. The system automatically tests the tablets produced by a tablet press and manually introduced into the unit. Parameters of round or oblong tablets are then displayed on the monitor. If the system detects significant deviations from weight, thickness, or hardness tolerances, it halts tablet production.
