Description
MACHINE TYPE:
The centrifugal pump uses the centrifugal effect of its impeller to move the liquid, transforming the mechanical energy from its motor first into kinetic energy and then into pressure energy that elevates the liquid.
APPLICATION SECTOR:
Pharmaceutical, chemical, cosmetic, food, dietary, medical devices, manufacturing.
FEATURES:
A centrifugal pump essentially consists of a moving part called the impeller (blade wheel), which draws the fluid from a suction pipe connected to the center of the pump and transfers mechanical energy to the liquid in the form of kinetic energy. The blade wheel rotates in a fixed spiral-shaped chamber, volute or pump casing, within which the liquid moves propelled by the centrifugal force imparted by the impeller, which transforms the kinetic energy of the liquid into pressure energy and channels it into the discharge pipe communicating with the periphery of the pump.
