DESCRIPTION:
Metal detector Goring Kerr has the purpose of testing for metal contamination of a product and to signal the required rejection of such a product.

MAIN FEATURES:
The search head TEK 21 consists of three equally spaced coils, the product to be inspected passing along the common axis of these coils. The centre winding is connected to an oscillator and so sets up an electromagnetic field which induces votlages into the outer windings. These outer windings are balanced ti give zero output voltage during manufacture and thereafter an automatic system nullifies any error voltage caused by temperature variations and ageing. Any short term error voltage caused by passage of metal through the search head is not balanced out but is amplified and used to operate a lamp and de-energise a control relay which may be connected to a reject or alarm system.
Composed of three essential parts:
– Search head
– Control unit
– The power supply terminal block and input and output devices
