In the area of tablet production quality control the GCP 1000 is an integrated system for the in-process determination of mass, active substance concentration, moisture, thickness, diameter, density and hardness of tablets. The system is non-invasive and without the hardness test also non-destructive. It provides enhanced statistics for quality control and directly indicates formulation changes. This online analysis is the basis for process control in pharmaceutical solids production plants.

MAIN FEATURES:
Tablet test system which controls automatically tablets produced by a Tablet Press and introduced manually in the control unit. Values of the round- or oblong-shaped tablets are tested and displayed on the control screen. If the machine detects significant deviations from the tolerances of the weight, thickness or hardness of the tablets, the production control system stops the production of tablets.
