MACHINE TYPE:
The LAF units are designed to create a particle-free working area in the air. Built from stainless steel, this laminar flow unit ensures a class 100 air quality workspace. It can be mounted on the ceiling if space is insufficient to install the bench.
APPLICATION SECTOR:
Perfect for use within a laboratory, existing production area, or cleanroom. These laminar flow units are ideal for working on and inspecting sensitive and/or critical products in terms of microorganisms and particles. FEATURES:
Laminar flow is where a fluid flows in one direction, without interruptions from turbulence. In the case of a laminar flow unit, clean air has a unidirectional flow downward or through the front of the filter unit. A laminar flow cabinet is used to protect products and processes sensitive to airborne particles. The unidirectional filtered air ensures that only extremely clean air passes during the process. This not only means that the air will be free of particles from the outside, but it also means that particles generated by the process will be pushed out and away, keeping it contamination-free.
