FEATURES:
The ERWEKA TBH 425 TD model is a hardness tester and tablet combination, designed for semi-automatic measurement of up to 10 samples. The samples are loaded into a star feeder and are then automatically transported to the testing station for measurement. The instrument can automatically measure hardness, thickness, diameter, or length (for elongated shapes) of round or irregularly shaped tablets. It features a membrane numeric keypad that allows the entry and saving of nominal hardness and up to three individual tolerances, along with other observations for up to 50 different products. These settings can be easily recalled for future tests, and the instrument also supports the entry of information such as product names and batch numbers. The calibration of the hardness testing station is guided by a menu and can be performed using weight stones or the ERWEKA AutoCal 2.0 electronic system. The device includes USB and serial LAN/USB interfaces, allowing connection to a printer for documentation or to a computer with the optional MC.NET software for external control. When used with this software, the TBH 425 TD complies with the 21 CFR 11 standard.
